HARDINSBURG — The Blackford Breckinridge Baptist Association will have its Semi-Annual Meeting on April 20 at 6 p.m. at Lewisport Baptist Church. Prior to the meeting at 4 p.m., they will host a leadership training with guest speaker Jared C. Wilson, director of the Pastoral Training Center of Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. BENTON — Jack Kee is celebrating his 5th anniversary as pastor of Union Ridge Baptist Church.


HAZEL — Hazel Baptist Church will have revival services April 25-28 at 10:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. on Sunday and Monday through Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. Kara Blackard will serve as the evangelist. Jordan Roach is pastor.


MAYFIELD — Glynn Copeland, associational mission strategist for the Graves County Association, announced his retirement. It will be effective May 31, 2021. He began his ministry as the director of missions in 2008, and will stay on in an interim role while the association seeks his replacement.


BOWLING GREEN — Jerry Gifford has been named principal of Legacy Christian Academy of Bowling Green. He also serves as senior pastor of LifePoint Church in Franklin.


NORTONVILLE — Nortonville Baptist Church will host a leadership conference April 17, starting at 9 a.m. and concluding with a lunch at noon. Leading sessions will be Larry Purcell, Mark Partin, Andy Haley and Lee Davis. To register, go to Lee Davis is pastor.


HOPKINSVILLE — Douglas Keith Roberts, 60, died April 10, 2021. He served as minister of worship and music at Second Baptist Church, a position he held since May 2005. Prior to that, he was minister of music at First Baptist Church of Sheffield, Ala. Memorial services will be Saturday, April 17, at Second Baptist Church.


Bruce Walzer of the Bell Association announced his retirement, effective April 30. He has served for more than 30 years as the association’s DOM/AMS.


FLORENCE — New Reality Church will host its first Women's Ministry Conference, "I AM." It is scheduled for Saturday, May 1, 5:00-9:00 p.m. Donna McKinley, Terri Hall, and Jeff Howard, Jr. will be speakers. HENDERSON — Victory Baptist Church has called Alan Butler as its pastor.


HENDERSON — Larry Butler, 78, passed away on March 9, 2021. He had previously served as pastor at Victory Baptist Church for over 20 years, moderator for the Green Valley Baptist Association, coordinator for Kentucky Changers and World Changers, and was active in jail ministry. Funeral services were held March 12, 2021 with Bill Patterson officiating.


KUTTAWA — First Baptist Church will host Tribute Quartet in concert April 17 at 6 p.m. Ken Cummins is transitional pastor.
